Gaines Group Architects is an architecture, design, and consulting firm founded in Charlottesville in 1987 by Raymond Gaines.[1] Gaines Group Architects has two offices, in Charlottesville and Harrisonburg. Gaines Group projects include Winterhaven, an assisted living facility; and Stone Creek Village, a residential development, both in Albemarle County.[2]
With offices in Charlottesville and Harrisonburg, Gaines Group Architects is a design firm dedicated to strong ideas, ecological stewardship, a[3]nd client satisfaction. Gaines’ grandfather, Elmer Burruss, was an architect whose projects included the Albemarle County clerk’s office, Monticello Dairy Building, Hill & Wood Funeral Home and the Ix Project.[1]
