Portals

One of the items that came up in the recent report that the Albemarle Charlottesville Historical Society commissioned with the Batten School was a critique of the various portals. You can see that report here. I will confess that in all of the years of cvillepedia, I have never paid attention to these. I am interested in trying to figure out what to do with these, as they could be very useful to the community. The actual content in the portals is largely automated by category -- other than sprucing up the "front-matter" a little bit, going through and checking that important articles are well categorized would probably improve the content quite a bit.
