Scottsville Rosenwald Washington School

The The Scottsville Rosenwald Washington School was one of seven Rosenwald Schools in Albemarle County. The school was built in 1925 in Scottsville, with windows that faced the rising sun and elongated bricks. It cost $3,400 to build, with the vast majority of the funding coming from the public.[1]
