QuickStart Tennis of Central Virginia (QCV) is an all-volunteer Community Tennis Association based in Charlottesville that promotes, develops and grows QuickStart Tennis in the City of Charlottesville and 21 counties in central Virginia.
History
In 2008 there was one pilot school in Albemarle County. In 2011 QuickStart Tennis is being taught in 118 schools in 20 localities in central Virginia with over 54,000 kids now able to learn to play the sport for a lifetime.
As the result of QCV's success, the Charlottesville area was selected as a pilot community for the United States Tennis Association (USTA) Target Market Initiatve.
