The Preston-Norris Cottage housed servants for the adjoining Wyndhurst house and is one of Charlottesville's individually protected properties, meaning any exterior changes or potential demolition would have to be approved by the Board of Architectural Review. The house is located at 611 Preston Place[1]. It is one of the city's only remaining board and batten houses from the 19th century. [2]
