The Pireus Store is one of Charlottesville's individually protected properties, meaning any exterior changes or potential demolition would have to be approved by the Board of Architectural Review. The structure is located at 1901 Market Street, East[1].
The structure originally served as the storehouse for the port of Pireus along the Rivanna River.
