Molly Meghan Miller (19862018) was a young women reported missing on December 30, 2017. Her body was found in her King Street home on New Year's Day. The Medical Examiner has ruled the death a suicide, and the Charlottesville Police Department now says the investigation is closed.

Six months after Miller's body was found in her King Street home following a two-day search, her mother, her fiance and a third person won protective orders granted against a local artist, a man who was also close to Miller and who they say has been harassing them.
McConnell has previously suggested her daughter killed herself as a side effect of the herbal supplement Kratom, which Miller reportedly took to treat pain from endometriosis. McConnell has also urged the public not to question the cause of her daughter's death or to criticize the investigation but to instead celebrate her daughter's life.
The circumstances of her death have left lingering questions by some in the community. [1]
