The Meadows Presbyterian Church was organized in 1962 and offered its first church services on May 6 in the former Mountain Bowl bowling alley on Millmont Street. A groundbreaking ceremony for the church itself was held on November 10, 1963. [1]

Ministers

There have been six ministers in the history of the church. [1]

  • James A. Payne, Jr. (1962 to 1968)
  • Charles C. Talley (1969 to 1975)
  • Jack W. Heintzleman (1975 to 1983)
  • David H. Smith (1985 to 1996)
  • Jeffery O. Neufeld (1998 to 2000)
  • Thomas A. Goodrich (2003 - present)
