Mas is a tapas restaurant located in Charlottesville's Belmont neighborhood and created by chef Tomas Rahal. Rahal has recently[when?] become involved in efforts to preserve Belmont's neighborhood character despite the increasing commercial presence. On the restaurant's website, Rahal has stated that "it is crucial we leave as small a footprint in Belmont, C'Ville and the world as is possible.[1].
