- 2007 – Charlottesville City Council approves resolution on March 19, 2007 for the city to join ICLEI, estimate greenhouse gas emissions in the city, and establish an emissions reduction target. [1]
- 2024 – The Albemarle County Economic Development Authority approves a $300,000 match for a GO Virginia Region 9 grant for Cville BioHub for their Cville Bio Accelerator project [2]
