The 350,000 square foot Manning Institute of Biotechnology is under construction at the University of Virginia Fontaine Research Park. Funding comes in part from a $100 million donation from Paul B. Manning and Diane Manning. [1]
The first director will be Mark T. Esser. [2]

Construction
Ground was broken on December 8, 2023. Occupation is expected by late 2026.
