Lloyd Thomas Smith, Jr.

Lloyd Thomas Smith, Jr. is a Charlottesville resident and one of several plaintiffs in a lawsuit against Charlottesville City Council to stop the removal of the Robert E. Lee Statue from Emancipation Park. He is a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps and fought in the Korean War. Smith served as an agent for a group that sought to renovate the statue and Stonewall Jackson Statue in the late 1990's. [1]
