Leslie Hughes Walton Scholarship at CATEC
The Charlottesville Albemarle Technical Education Center (CATEC) established a scholarship to honor Mr. Walton following his death in 1970. According to CATEC, "[a]s Superintendent of Albemarle County Public Schools, Mr. Walton was a strong advocate of career and technical education and the establishment of CATEC.[1]
