Lane Babe Ruth League

The Lane Babe Ruth League is an organization of baseball teams for 13- to 15-year-old boys. The league was established in 1958 and plays its games at several locations throughout the community[1].

In 2010, Albemarle County informed the league they would need to pay for the cost to light Lane Field, one of the facilities on which the league holds it games[2].
