- 2007 – The North Charlottesville Business Council meets with Albemarle County planners to discuss the development of the Places29 Master Plan with a focus on the possibility of building grade-separated in changes on U.S 29 as part of the plan [1]
- 2019 – 999 Rio Road goes before Albemarle Planning Commission who vote 5-0 to recommend approval [2]
Deaths
- 1982 – Horace Carter Miller Sr. dies in Albemarle County and is buried at the Mount Zion First African Baptist Church Cemetery. A resident of Burnley who later began working his own farm in the vicinity of Rivanna, Miller had his portrait photograph prominently included within the Holsinger Studio Collection.
