John Kluge was a philanthropist and former media mogul who at one time was married to Patricia Kluge and called Albemarle County home.
Kluge died on September 7, 2010 in his sleep at the age of 95[1].
Local charitable donations
In all, Kluge gave over $63 million to the University of Virginia to help support scholarships and children's health[1].
