Biography

Joel is a digital innovator who has spent the past 11+ years improving access to information and data across the healthcare industry as an entrepreneur, board member, and advisor. He co-founded and currently leads ArcheMedX, an e-learning technology and healthcare informatics company, which is transforming online education and training across healthcare through a data-driven approach to learning.

Joel also serves as Chairman of Ozmosis, Inc., a provider of care collaboration solutions to hospital systems and healthcare organizations. Prior to Ozmosis, Joel co-founded and directed Medical Funding Services (MFS), a digital healthcare payments firm, previously served in management roles at IBM Global Services, and developed data analysis solutions for the U.S. Government while at American Management Systems.

Joel received his BA from Georgetown University and MBA from the Darden School of Business, where he led the Entrepreneurs Club and worked for Updata Venture Partners. He co-founded FounderCorps and currently serves as a Special Advisor to Social Safeguard & OpenQ and previously served as a Board Member of the Charlottesville Business Innovation Council (CBIC).
