Jodie Filardo took over as the director of the Albemarle County Department of Community Development on September 9, 2019. [1] Previously she was Community and Economic Development director in Clarkdale, Arizona. [2]
Filardo will retire from Albemarle County government at the beginning of 2026. [3]
