Biography
Jean Brundred "Bunny" Murray was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma on June 10, 1920. During World War II she enlisted in the Navy, achieving the rank of Lieutenant (junior grade) in the Navy's Women Accepted for Volunteer Emergency Service (WAVES). Following the war she and her husband moved to Earlysville, Virginia, where they established Panorama Farms and participated actively in the community and local government. Jean Murray died in Charlottesville on May 19, 2012. She is survived by her husband, James Murray. [1]
