The Henry Avenue Learning Center was the original name for an educational facility that serves at-risk adolescents. It closed and re-opened as the Lugo-McGinness Academy in November 2014. The mission continues to work with students from City of Charlottesville Public Schools unable to receive their middle or high school educations for behavioral reasons. [1] [2] [3]
