Fred D. Jung
Fred D. Jung, RN, PhD is the Founder of Blue Ridge ElderCare Advisors which provides healthcare management services for seniors and their loved ones in Central Virginia and the Shenandoah Valley. Dr. Jung previously was on the faculty of the University of North Carolina1 and the University of Colorado and served as an Administrator in the University of Virginia Health System. With a background in patient care management and healthcare quality, he is highly effective in navigating complex healthcare systems and serving as a patient advocate.
Jung serves on the Medical Reserve Corp of the Blue Ridge Health District and is a member of the Charlottesville Business Exchange and the Mid-Atlantic Chapter of the Aging Life Care Association.2 Dr. Jung provides free seminars on healthy aging at the Charlottesville Center at Belvedere (Senior Center).
