- 1770 – John Wilkinson and John Old officially organize Albemarle Iron Works (a predecessor to the Albemarle Furnace Company).
- 2022 – Final day for Lisa Robertson as Charlottesville City Attorney.[1]
Births
- 1891 – Horace Carter Miller Sr. is born in Albemarle County. A resident of Burnley who later began working his own farm in the vicinity of Rivanna, Miller had his portrait photograph prominently included within the Holsinger Studio Collection.
