Albert Darden Towe (1935-1992) was a Republican member of the Charlottesville City Council who served in the 1970's.
Darden Towe Park is named for him.
In 2000, the Daily Progress named Towe as one of the distinguished dozen of the 20th century[1].
In 1992, the Charlottesville Regional Chamber of Commerce awarded Towe with the Paul Goodloe McIntire Citizenship Award. [2]

Albert Darden Towe was born on September 15, 1935. He was married to Barbara Lucille (Glass) Pierce. Darden died on August 13, 1992 (aged 56).
