About
The first Restaurant Week was held July 13 through 19, 2009 and sponsored by the Hook. Every year money from each meal sold is donated to a local charity. The Hook reported that following the July 2012 restaurant week, over $55,000 had been donated to various organizations since the festival's beginning.[1]
