The Charlottesville League of Urban Chicken Keepers, or CLUCK, is an informal network of Charlottesville residents who raise poultry in their backyards. [1] According to their Facebook page, Cluck "is a network of backyard poultry enthusiasts dedicated to raising chickens humanely in Charlottesville, VA."

In 2012, there was a lawsuit in Albemarle County Court against a man who wanted to raise chickens on his land in the urban area. Neighbors were opposed. [2]
