Charlottesville Commissioner of the Revenue

The Commissioner of the Revenue collects revenue for the City of Charlottesville. It is one of five locally elected constitutional officers with authority conveyed in the Virginia Constitution, serving a four-year term. Todd Divers is the current officeholder, since 2014.

1898 Elected
1897 David W. Fowler D. W. Fowler was appointed by Judge R. T. W. Duke in April 1897 and succeeded his father, C. L. Fowler, who had held this position.
1870 to April 1897 Christopher L. Fowler C. L. Fowler (December 14, 1814April 17, 1898) also served as elected Mayor of the city.
