Isn't it all history? -- B.S. Lawrence 09:56, 2 June 2012 (EDT)
OK so I'm thinking I created this category correctly, but for the wrong reason. Compare wikipedia:category:history. It's about the study of history, not historic events. Really, almost everything on cvillepedia could be considered "history" in the way it's being used here, and I think that's wrong. Tempted to throw the 'deletion' flag on this, and move the articles to other more appropriate cats. -- B.S. Lawrence 09:56, 2 June 2012 (EDT)
- Can you explain why you think it's wrong? This is an archive of potentially anything that has happened here. That's how we've been using the site since 2007. I most frequently use this site to draw upon articles in order to make sure we have the history of a particular project right when I post a story. But I barely use the history category anyway. I'd like to hear from others. --Seantubbs 21:46, 4 June 2012 (EDT)
- The explanation is in the original comment, but at the risk of repeating myself, it'sot comparable to wikipedia's cat of the same name, and if we use the extant model, every page on this wiki would qualify. -- B.S. Lawrence 15:26, 5 June 2012 (EDT)
- Following is a proposed new text to reflect spirit of what this is about. If it's not self-explanatory have at some edits. -- B.S. Lawrence (talk) 11:40, 1 July 2021 (EDT)
