Boys Town Club

A Boys Town Club was created in Charlottesville in 1948. The group's first 'mayor' was Billy Wood who was sworn in at the Albemarle County Courthouse on March 4, 1948. [1]

The club was initially successful and quickly needed bigger headquarters. [2]
