Avionics Specialties was an aerospace manufacturing plant located in Earlysville. The 53,000 square foot factory opened in 1954 and closed in 2007. [1] In September 2013, it was revealed that the Environmental Protection Agency is investigating soil and groundwater contamination. [2]
