Arthur Dana Kasler

Arthur Dana Kasler became the director of the Charlottesville Parks and Recreation Department on December 20, 2021, succeeding Todd Brown. [1] Kasler, most recently the Director of Parks and Recreation in Louisville Kentucky, was hired by Deputy City Manager Sam Sanders.[2] Kasler was succeeded by Riaan Anthony on July 1, 2024. Anthony had served as the Interim Director of Parks and Recreation for the previous nine months. [3]
