Albemarle County Lift Grants

In the wake of the COVID-19 Emergency, Albemarle received about $9.5 million in CARES Act funding from the federal government. Part of the funding was used for a business relief program that was administered through the Community Investment Collaborative.

First Round

The first round of $1.25 million was targeted for businesses affected by the slowdown in the tourism and hospitality industry. [1] [2]
